Logo design and branding for a new wedding venue.
Design Brief
Overview
The Villa at Rolling Hills Ranch is a new wedding venue currently under renovation, envisioned to be a timeless and elegant space for modern celebrations. The owners approached me to create a logo and brand board that would establish a strong visual foundation for the venue before its official launch—something that communicates sophistication, romance, and architectural charm.
Design Direction
The client provided a series of inspiration logos featuring refined line work, architectural motifs, and graceful typography. Drawing from this aesthetic, I wanted to create a design that would give the venue an authentic visual identity from day one, rooted in its unique architecture rather than relying on generic wedding symbols.
I centered the logo around one of the property’s standout architectural features—the grand entrance tower—as a way to make the design feel connected to the venue itself. To introduce a touch of intricacy and elegance, I incorporated a stairwell railing pattern from the interior renovation plans. Together, these elements create a balance of structure and artistry that reflects the venue’s modern classic feel.
Color Palette
The brand’s primary green was chosen for its organic, calming quality and its natural connection to the greenery and white florals often used in weddings. Paired with neutral tones and elegant typography, the palette creates a clean, sophisticated, and enduring visual identity that will translate seamlessly across future signage, print, and digital applications.
