Letterform Archive — Editorial & Typography Exploration
Editorial Design | Typography | Layout Design
For this project, I created a multi-page editorial booklet inspired by Letterform Archive, a San Francisco-based organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating typography and graphic design. The goal was to explore how typography, composition, and imagery work together to create engaging editorial layouts.
Starting with only the organization's logo and text, I experimented with typography, hierarchy, and spacing to develop a series of layouts that gradually became more complex. As the project progressed, I introduced imagery from Letterform Archive's collection to explore how visual elements could enhance the overall composition and storytelling.
Using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I focused on building a cohesive visual system while experimenting with different approaches to editorial design. This project gave me the opportunity to push my creativity through typography and better understand how thoughtful layout decisions can transform simple content into a visually engaging publication.
